One of my friends donated this to my page… But I don’t really know what it means… (Andrea- can you help me out?)
For Berlusconi-video, scroll further down the page!
(For more movie-reviews scroll down this page. Don’t miss Hotel Rwanda!!)
Sideways is a movie about very adult persons. And hence FOR very adult persons, I figured. But I was wrong! I think it is a very meaningfull film and the acting is great. Super casting! It made me feel good, sad, surprised and then I also learnt a great deal about wine-tasting… Recommended!
The merchant of Venice. A grandiose film about 16th century Venice (and Europe, I guess). About religion, beliefs, love and the power of money. Jeremy Irons and Al Pacino are fantastic in their roles in my opinion! The ‘Shakespeareian’ universe is very theatrical and impressive (I never read anything of the guy, but from films it seems he knows something about creating a gripping atmosphere) Highly recommended!
Paradis!! Husk at Paradis-is er åbnet til en ny sæson! på hjemmesiden kan du bestille is m.m.. For Guds skyld: prøv lakridsen!
For those of you who doesn’t speak danish: Come to Denmark and try out our icecream!!
It seems that the Palestinian/Israeli conflict has been forgotten recently. At least in the Danish media. None of the Danish newspapers have this story on their homepage (click on “story” to enter the story). I am in no way defending Palestinian suicide bombers, and I understand Israels need to protect itself! But does this protection require to take the life of 13-year old boys?! Some months ago a Danish delegation (including the general secretary of Amnesty Internatinal went to Israel and the occupied areas of Palestine. After comming home, the conservative Gitte Seeberg openly critized the Israeli government. Press this link and scroll to page 14 to see the conclusion and please note that it is very rare that a right-wing politician openly utters a negative word about Israel. As I know I’ll be critized for my coloured approach to this subject, I will give those who are interested a couple of good links to read more on the matter:
BBC’s historical review
The conservative Danish newspaper, Jyllandsposten.Review of a Danish book on the subject. Interesting!
Enjoy!
